Sodexo Live!, hospitality partner to the world’s most iconic venues, announced today a refreshed hospitality experience for travelers passing through Hilo International Airport with the introduction of the new Laniāakea Café, opening Friday, December 5.
Travelers will find an expanded menu featuring locally-inspired baked goods, including sweet and savory pastries, malasadas and other island favorites. Additional offerings include homemade bean soup, chili, fried rice and spam musubi, and the new and expanded bar will feature pizzas and pupus. The café will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. or until the last departing flight.
The beverage program will offer a range of selections with nods to regional flavors and delicacies. Guests can also enjoy a full-service Menehune coffee and espresso counter, Hawaiian sodas, flavored iced teas, peppermint hot cocoa and seasonal specialties such as the Pineapple Spiced Mule and Mele Kalikimaka Punch. Local brews from Kona Brewing and Kohola Brewing will also be available.
Sodexo Live!, in partnership with the Hawai‘i Department of Transportation, is excited for busy travelers to experience these updates, which reflect a commitment to quality, efficiency and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the terminal.
